Bukit Panjang Plaza is marking August with a month-long lineup of National Day celebrations. The mall will be decked out in red and white as Singapore gears up for its National Day festivities.

Singapore NDP 2026 Fireworks Across the Sky

For the first time in a decade, the National Day Parade returns to the National Stadium at Kallang for Singapore's 61st birthday on Sunday, 9 August 2026. The SG61 celebration carries the theme Majulah Singapura, Go Beyond, bringing the nation's biggest parade back to the sports hub.

The fireworks launch over the Kallang Basin, with early bursts from about 7:30pm and the grand finale between 8:10pm and 8:30pm. The 2026 show adds a first-ever indoor drone light show with more than 300 drones inside the stadium, alongside an expanded special effects production that is one of the largest NDP has staged.

For Bukit Panjang residents, the nearest free public spots to watch the aerial display are around the Kallang Basin, including the Stadium Riverside Walk, Tanjong Rhu Promenade and Kallang Riverside Park, each with clear sightlines across the water to the launch site.
