Bad service from the staff member named Hong Shan. Stood there idling, letting the other guy do all the work while letting customers wait. Zero initiative. Where did all the friendly aunties go?

This happened in 2024. We went to the shop for an exchange but were denied. They claimed we should have placed it in the fridge. Oh well. The advice slip was kept inside the packaging. Who knows? We had to throw out 2 bags. Since then, we have been telling friends and relatives to avoid this brand because it gets moldy easily. We have since fallen in love with 品原 Bak Kua! (Is that how you lose customers?)

If you crave freshly grilled Bak Kwa on a lazy Sunday afternoon and don’t feel like travelling out, this is the perfect choice. Though it is sliced (versus minced) version, the meat is soft and so well grilled. And it is still piping hot when delivered. It is a perfect treat to go with a Médoc wine.
