The library is actually segregated into two different locations (aka Children's and Adults' sections) on the same level, and their entrances face each other. The entire layout looks simplistic, open-plan, and feels very conducive to reading and revising homework.

After this library was renovated, a lot of books were added. I also like how they separate the children's and adults' sections to provide peace for adults, given the usual fun noise children make. This library is also very spacious, with quite a lot of cubicles for sitting.

While relatively small compared to other neighbourhood libraries, the Bukit Panjang Library is well-stocked, has a comprehensive selection of books, and is cosy with a very nice ambience.

Bukit Panjang Library is indeed quite small. But they separate the children's section and the adult section. It is very easy to find books.

My experience at the library is peaceful. Yes, it's a quiet and clean environment. But I feel there isn't enough seating for studying. I suggest they add more seating. And, as a very introverted person, I find it hard to sit with others at a shared circular table. So, perhaps to make other introverts like me feel less anxious, they could consider adding individual seating with partitions.

My rating: 4/5 **What I like in libraries:** * Availability of books from my online To-Be-Read (TBR) list. * Spacious environments. * Multiple book genres. I have never seen a library like Bukit Panjang. It’s in a mall, and once you go to the highest level, you’ll notice what appears to be two Bukit Panjang Libraries. In reality, it's one large library spread across the floor. On one side of the level, there’s a children’s section. On the other side, there’s an adults & teens zone. The children’s zone is very spacious. The design of the children’s zone is very different and unique. In the middle of the room, there are circular bookshelves on a raised platform that you can walk up to, where additional shelves are located. They also have separated walls that form a circle, providing seating areas in between. In the adult & teens zone, one of the first things I noticed was the magazine shelves. They were arranged in an almost zig-zag pattern. When you first walk in, you can see a spiraling display with a few books. When you look up, you can notice the design close to the ceiling, which I think is really cool. Like the children’s zone, they also have separated walls that form a circular shape, where you can sit, work on your computers, study, and read. They also have an audiovisual section, and an area with tables and computers. There’s also a circular area, once you’ve walked in a bit farther and turned to the right. It’s filled with bookshelves, tables, seats, and people. I noticed everyone sitting there was studying on their computers, which makes me think the Bukit Panjang Library is a really nice place to study. But I think it would be harder to get a seat if you don’t come early. Overall, I really like this library because you can do a variety of activities there, such as reading, listening to an audiobook, working on your computers, studying, and more.

I am a cynical person by nature. I am deeply impressed by staff's good customer service when approached for help. They are so kind, empathetic, caring, and helpful, always doing their best to assist. I am truly touched by their kampong spirit to render assistance whenever needed, and I am truly blessed to be a patron of Bt Panjang Public Library. I would like to give credit to the young Malay plump lady dressed in a blue uniform with a tudung on last Sunday, who went all out to assist me in connecting my laptop to Wireless@SGx in the late afternoon. Also, another Malay lady dressed in a blue uniform with a tudung, and an Indian lady in spectacles with a pigtail, on March 4th, from about 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM, helped me reserve a seat at the library because there was an issue with the NLB App that prevented me from reserving a seat via my mobile phone. I hope NLB would take note of such dedicated staff for their good customer service. NLB is truly blessed to have such staff.

It's small but very well maintained; it is bright and clean, with books in Singapore's 4 main languages. The staff are friendly and helpful in this library.

A lovely place to browse and read quietly. The ease of the NLB app to reserve and collect books here at the locker makes this one of my favourite places. Another unique thing is that the Children's library is separated, and it is on the other side of the mall.
