Used to go to proper facial studio but this is new and near my house so gave it a try. Tried $28 15mins cleansing facial. First time trying express facial but to be honest not very impressive.
The “extraction” is to use a scraper looking thing (one of the attachment of the all-in-one machine) to scrape the skin. Didn’t expect it to remove deep blackhead but it can’t really remove some smaller whitehead/blackhead on my face in my opinion. I could have removed more on my own using clay mask and cotton. Maybe it does remove some dead skin I believe, but can’t expect to see result.
Good thing is they doesn’t hard sell and no package. If don’t expect a clean face can try.

All was good until the extraction with the scrubber where she exerted so much force to extract my blackheads that it caused bruising on my skin for a week due to broken capillaries. I believe the scrubber should be used to draw out oil and sebum rather than extracting it? Perhaps my blackheads are stubborn, but in any case, this has made me doubt the professionalism of the staff there as there was also no explanation of each step for a first-timer. Better off paying a bit more for a proper facial.
