Saw there’s a promo for 50% off for first time app purchases. Downloaded, signed up for account.
1. App was very buggy and after 10 mins , still couldn’t figure out what was wrong or how to claim the promo.
2. Tried again on another phone, download app, sign up, and again couldn’t figure out how to claim promo.
After wasting easily 15 mins of time, decided to approach counter to ask how To do it.
Malaysian sounding man in black shirt full of attitude , tells me the promotion is not in effect.
Have to wait till August.
I remarked that the display doesn’t say that at all.
Continues to curtly tell me the promotion is not in effect yet , worst still as if it’s my fault.
Completely crap experience at Playmade today.

Ordered Dong ding oolong, less ice, 25% sugar and osmanthus jelly.
The drink itself tasted like plain water. Very very very subtle taste. Ice was definitely not ‘Less’, it’s more than half the cup!

Wondering what's the craze about PlayMade. We tried first time today and it was disappointing. The Rockmelon Fresh Milk was weird. There was dessicated coconut in it. We tried to finish it but threw it half way. It was awful. Brown sugar milk tea was tasteless.
The self-order machine idea is bad. Customers taking too long to decide what to drink, making the queue unnecessary long and slow. Frustrating.

That is where I realized It was Taiwan Milk Tea (which was the next person's order, order no. 71). Staff working who packed didnt check as well. Kindly review this.

have been a loyal supporter of playmade’s multiple outlets across sg. have come multiple times to this outlet before the closing time but was turned away because of an unstated and unspoken last order time that was not mentioned anywhere else. quite disappointing to make a visit down to the outlet only to be told this 15-20 min before the stated closing time on google maps/instagram. understand that they have a lot of grabfood orders and also that sometimes there might be people in front of us who order 4-5 drinks before our turn, but it would be nice if the last order time and closing time are differentiated more clearly. please note before coming!

They even made effort to remember my pearl preference even before I place my orders at times!
I recently made an oder through the Playmade app and indicate comments for my pearl preference since the default options on the app did not reflect the pearl of my choice (black sesame). When I went to collect my order, I realised that my orders were wrongly prepared as the comments made in the Playmade app did not reflect on their end.
However, the staff offered to change my drinks for me since she recognize me and my usual my go-to preference and she didn't want to disappoint me. Bear in mind that I did not ask or expect them to made the change since it wasn't the shopfront's staffs fault. But they made the effort to anyways, so I really appreciate their effort to put in the extra mile, which really made my day!
Kudos to the BPP team, hands down my favorite outlet <3 (:
PS to Playmade HQ, please improve the Playmade app as seasonal pearls like black sesame are always not reflected on the app to order.. It is a hassle for consumers to want to place an order through your app and then having to call the outlet to communicate and ensure that the pearl of choice I want for my drink is correct. Also, I have collected some Playmade points but the app does not seem to allow for any points redemption. The app interface is lacking as compared to other BBTea chains like KOI.
