Dad gave the cashier $10, but only received $3 change. When confronted, she mentioned my dad gave her $5. My dad did not pursue further. The cashier must have been confused.

Usually get my sugar rush from the kaya cake. Good selection of bread and baked goods. However quality of bread dough and cook are inconsistent. There have been instances when the inside of the breads were still raw and lumpy. Generally good service from the staff there.

Bad social behaviour experience at this branch. I got my breads ready to pay at cashier. The Malay cashier said there was someone infront of me who I saw nobody. I turned and saw another Malay lady customer obviously still doing her shopping of breads at the shelves. Upon hearing us, she came over and threw another breads on the cashier & walked away to do more shopping of bread. I told the cashier that she ought to go ahead with my payment but the Malay cashier refused as she insisted to serve the Malay customer who obviously wasn't ready to make payment yet. The frustration part was after I asked the cashier why should everyone waits for the customer whom obviously still doing her shopping, the Malay cashier then said, to let me pay first, shamefully supported by the not-yet-ready to make payment Malay customer. I do not jump queue. In steady term, imagine if this bad social behaviour is to be tolerated, then anyone can throw an item at the cashier and chop their right as first customer, then how about others who are ready to make payment? Swee Heng management should educate & counsel your own staff. Date 15 Nov 22, time at 11am, check out the cctv, who are those unreasonable ones.

Medium priced but bread mouthfeel is tacky gummy sticky due to insufficient baking temperature at the center of buns.

Here's the edited review with grammar fixes and minor improvements, keeping the original meaning and sentiment intact: I had a bad social behavior experience at this branch. I had my bread ready to pay at the cashier. The Malay cashier said there was someone in front of me, but I saw nobody. I turned and saw another Malay lady customer still doing her shopping for bread at the shelves. Upon hearing us, she came over and threw more bread on the counter and walked away to do more shopping for bread. I told the cashier that she ought to go ahead with my payment, but the Malay cashier refused, as she insisted on serving the Malay customer who obviously wasn't ready to make payment yet. The frustrating part was that after I asked the cashier why everyone should wait for the customer who was obviously still doing her shopping, the Malay cashier then said to let me pay first, a statement shamefully supported by the Malay customer who was not yet ready to make payment. I do not jump queues. In the long run, imagine if this bad social behavior is tolerated: anyone could throw an item at the cashier and claim their spot as the first customer. What about others who are ready to make payment? Swee Heng management should educate and counsel their staff. Date: November 15, 2022, Time: 11 AM. Please check the CCTV footage to identify the unreasonable individuals.

Great service by their senior. I wanted a cake that was not on shelf and she managed to arrange it for me the following day. No need for a 3 day wait.

As usual, Swee Heng is the best halal bakery for me. However, the choices here are limited.

Admittedly, I am a big fan of "heartland" bakeries, and a big fan of Swee Heng. I'm almost impressed by how Sweet Heng stays updated to the latest bake trends and at the same, stay true to its heartland bakery roots and maintain its reasonable pricing. Today, I took away a Chicken Ham Cheese Bun and a trendy Speculaas Tiramisu Cake. The former was nostalgically good. The latter was very very good and innovative. I also find the service staff at this Swee Heng outlet to be very friendly.

Got their cranberry hokkaido milk bun at 1.9$. Fragrant n buttery exterior crust w a generous number of cranberries. Can taste bits of milky, creamy parts inside, making this bun slightly heavier n filling.

We were shopping at Hillion Mall and Bukit Panjang Plaza for a birthday cake and decided to try Swee Heng Bakery's Blackforest Mous instead of other brands that we had previously purchased. The cake is attractively displayed and enticed us to purchase it. Surprisingly, the taste is good, and it is smooth and creamy. The price is reasonable, and the staff was polite and helpful. It was a good purchase!

Went there last Thursday evening. We bought a lot of bread & cake for colleagues who are in the camp. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They push forward the promo time slightly earlier so that we can enjoy good discounts .very flexible & kind. Saw one staff’s tag reads “Ah Liang”..she is very approachable & friendly . Really good service . First time I know this is halal certified. My Muslim colleagues enjoyed the bread and cake thoroughly .
