I would like to share some feedback regarding a recent visit to your store. I purchased feminine hygiene products and made payment via NETS QR, as I did not have my wallet with me. After completing the transaction, I requested a plastic bag, only to be informed by the cashier that there would be an additional 5-cent charge. Unfortunately, this was not communicated before I made the payment, and given that I was clearly not carrying any bags, I feel this could have been anticipated. When I mentioned the need for a bag, I was told I had to purchase more items to meet the minimum $5 requirement in order to pay for the bag. The cashier did not offer an apology, which I found disappointing. I had no choice but to pick up extra items just to reach the minimum amount. I hope this feedback will help improve communication and customer service at the checkout counter in future. A simple heads-up about the bag charge would have made a big difference.

This outlet at BPP used to be fairly reasonable in price, but of late, they have been taking customers to the cleaners with prices that are way above that of other Value$ outlets(take Value$ Jurong Point for eg), and, also Japan Home and Venus. Suggest you compare prices before purchasing. I was shocked to see that Shokubutsu refill 500 ml was retailing at Value$ BPP at $3.60 or so when you can get the same product at Venus at $2.60 - and the Venus product is made in Japan whilst the other is not. So, the bottom line is, don't assume that Value$ offers the best price, compare before purchasing. You will get more value for your $.

Not that cheaper for Rittersport chocolate at $2.95 when the same is selling at $2.50 next door.

the absolute worst cashier, went out of her way to say thank you to foreigners but throw items on the counter after scanning even when locals say thank you. This establishment should not be allowed to create racial strain.

TLDR: We were served by a rude Chinese lady at the cash register and were charged $2.85 for snacks they sell at $2.50 via FoodPanda on ValuDollar (Potong Pasir). Buy your Tom & Jerry Crackers elsewhere. When we saw the price on the shelf, it was $1. Instead of correcting us nicely, the cashier shot us a condescending stare when we asked "Isn't it $1?" and proceeded to wrestle the snack bag to scan the barcode to prove her point. As we were already in the queue, we thought that perhaps we saw the price tag for the wrong item, and decided to just pay for it. When we tried to pay by card, the payment didn't go through and she disrespectfully exclaimed "Hello??? It didn't go through?" in Mandarin. It was a NETS payment so she probably made a mistake on her end. Despite her own mistake, she still wanted to raise her voice and proceeded to glare at us like she couldn't wait to be done with us. Never buying from them. And please, hire someone who doesn't glare at customers for their own mistakes.

Worst service. Closes even before 9:30pm , even though they have mentioned it closes by 10pm. This happened on a normal weekend. They should probably change the closing time than wasting customers time. Didn’t even bother lending me to buy which I already know what to buy.

A bargain store offering all kinds of goods from chocolates to household cleaners.
Fengming Huang
A budget store with various groceries and food items, which are mainly produced for Thailand or other countries. The price is low comparing to same brand produced for Singapore. Good place to find cheaper alternatives.
Manic Irony
They've a good assortment of things, even got those ottoman boxes for a low price. But the food items can taste a little different from original as they're manufactured elsewhere. It is a hit or miss, and if it works out, that's a lot of savings.
