I went to the shop and saw a pair of earrings. The staff told me it's Ayoka pearl. I clarified with the staffs and they confirmed it's Ayoka pearl. Then I went to a shop selling pearls months later and I was told the pearl earring I bought at boon lay gems is actually pearlwater pearls. I compared both Ayoka pearls, and freshwater pearls and the pearls they sold to me.
So I call the shop asking for explainations, they mentioned it's Ayoka pearl on the receipt, then Ayoka pearl that they sold to me.
Well, I have given them opportunity to explain themself. They ask me to bring my receipt and earrings. What's the purpose of they insist what they sell is Ayoka pearl instead of freshwater pearl. Ayoka pearl has a pinkish reflection on the pearl and freshwater pearl doesn't.
GET AT UR OWN RISK .
I will NEVER STEP MY FOOT in this shop.

Today at 10 Jan 2024, they sell 24K gold at $110 per gram but look at silver bullion at Millennia Walk, a gold dealer and they are selling it at about $91.3 per gram and it's a limited edition lunar dragon gold bar too!
So for example for one troy ounce of gold, the difference is +$554.15!
Don't be cheated by their high prices! Avoid!! ✋

This is the worst gold shopping experience I ever had. Left feeling horrible! This sale assistant insisted on using NETs when I mentioned that capitastar linked card should be using mastercard. He didn’t listen and went ahead against my warning and cost me to lose my capitastar points. The sale assistants beside him also tried to remind him. Mind you I spend $4k at this place. No apologies whatsoever. This irks me the most. I told them to give me something worth the points I lost and he gave me a pot. Honestly, better than nothing but the service is so bad that I will never ever step in the store.

Bad experience with staffs. Carry a wide variety of items but prices are higher compared to many shops I visited. Be prepared to pay premium price here.

Was there on 12th Nov in the afternoon and received super distasteful service. The SA who was serving us was a man in white and wearing a black watch. We were looking at gold bangles for bridal purposes and showed the SA 2 specific designs from SK. It is fine if they don’t have the designs and recommend us something else but he felt the need to make sarcastic comments “Oh are these designs from pawnshop? or maxicash? These designs are outdated already.” in a belittling way. Mind you, these designs are trendy designs from SK which the company is not capable of doing. In fact, the bangles he showed us were dowdy and things from the 90s era.
Please see attached first 5 photos of their unfashionable designs and the last 2 photos of the ones from SK and you guys can be the judge as to which company is the out-dated one.
The gold price is not exactly cheap either, the designs are distasteful, and with such turn-off service, please do not patronise them.
We ended up taking our business to Boon Lay Goldsmith at Boon Lay itself. They have trendy designs and super nice SA. Everyone is friendly and give the right recommendations. Gold price per gram is good as well. Do not waste your time at Boon Lay Gems.

My daughter and I went to the Bukit Panjang Branch and the service is superb, 5 star to a Sales person called Ah Chuen. Then his supervisor/manager is a lady and was also very helpful and friendly to my daughter and I. Highly recommended for this branch. As for whether the gold and price they quoted to customers (saw the past reviews) was not genuine or high, I am very surprised because yesterday there were many customers in the outlet to purchase gold there. Their designs are very nice and both of us got what we wanted. Will go again in a few months time.

Worst gold sellers in the market. They sell gold not at the current market rate but at a 20% markup and have exorbitant making charges for the simplest of designs. Please avoid going here at all costs. They are stealing money!
