Decided to takeaway curry pork rice from Hill's Street Hainanese Curry Rice —pretty average stuff. But if you enjoy standing around for 4 minutes while the cashier (possibly the manager, judging by her VIP uniform) lovingly wipes down the cash register, then disappears to fetch a wired mouse—yes, in 2025—just to plug it into the cash register during peak hour, all without so much as a “sorry,” then this stall is your paradise.

honestly the food here is not cheap, average spending about $6 and above. There are some stalls that doesn't accept Fairprice app payments meaning no additional 10% discount. Peak period will be very crowded and not much seats. My bowl of noodles cost $7.90

I was shocked for the price for one kopi o kosong, such a small cup cost me SGD1.80??????? The most expensive kopi in Bujit Panjang, will not be buying their drinks anymore.

I wish we have a hawker street food court like this near where I am. According to my friend, they brought in famous franchises from all over Singapore to this food courts, don’t need to travel all over the country. Tried the tai Wah pork noodle stall as it has the longest queue. Soup is very rich and flavour infused yet mild and not salty. Would recommend this if u need a hearty soup to warm your heart. Queue wise for this stall, more than 15 mins during peak hours.

A new makan place packed with many specially selected stalls from various parts of Singapore. We had curry chicken & pork chop rice from Hill Street Hainanese Curry Rice and it was amazing. Curry sauce is thick and delicious when added with the dark sauce. Our comfort food. Will definitely come back for more. Overall, the place is very clean too.

Exploring @HawkerStreetsg at Bukit Panjang Plaza!
First up, Pang’s signature Hakka yong tau foo soup. Assorted YTF items stuffed with minced pork + fish paste fillings, seasoned with sole fish powder and chunks of radish cooked till tender but not falling apart. The soup was light yet so addictive – can’t stop slurping! 😋
Next, we indulged in Flourful Delight’s Xiao Long Bao. Those thin, delicate wrappers that hold a burst of rich, savory broth and fillings…… pure joy in every bite!
As for Roast Paradise, we had a mixed experience. The char siew & roast pork were a bit of a letdown this time, with the char siew being rather dry and tough. We’re hoping it was a one-off! But the roast pork did redeem itself with crispy skin, tender meat and a nice layer of fat.

At Bukit Panjang Plaza, there are 4 dedicated halal stalls. Wish there are more stalls selling Indonesian/Malay food and also Indian Muslim varieties. Overall, at present it is quite adequate. Had a pleasant time dining here. Place is big with sufficient seatings.

Many famous food brought near to the community. Highly recommend the Pork Noodle and Yong Tau Foo.
Pork Noodle comes with dried salted fish. If you order their signature, it is like ordering 2 dishes where one is the noodle and another is the ingredients with soup. Very filling and worth the price. Something special that cannot be found anywhere typical in Singapore.
Yong Tau Foo is also packed with nice ingredients. Not too less and not too much. Not too salty and not too bland. It strikes the perfect balance of taste for a Yong Tau Foo. One good thing is also their noodle is well cooked and overall balanced out the whole dish.
Mee Hoon Kuey is not really special but still acceptable like a standard mee hoon kuey. Noodle is not too hard and the egg soup is nice. Great addition to this Kopitiam.
There is also a scissor cut curry rice that is quite famous. However I find it not as good as the original one at Hill Street Hainanese Curry Rice. It feels more like an economic rice that’s overpriced because of the banjir curry sauce.
Better come early during peak hour because it is now well known in the neighbourhood and always packed with people. There is also a washing station that you can wash your hands before and after your meals. Great addition in Bukit Panjang Plaza.

Many famous food stalls are now conveniently located for the community. Highly recommend the Pork Noodle and Yong Tau Foo.
Pork Noodle comes with dried salted fish. If you order their signature, it's like getting two dishes: the noodle, and a separate bowl of ingredients with soup. Very filling and worth the price. Something special that cannot be typically found elsewhere in Singapore.
Yong Tau Foo is also packed with nice ingredients. Not too little and not too much. Not too salty and not too bland. It strikes the perfect balance of taste for a Yong Tau Foo. Another good thing is that their noodles are well-cooked and overall balance out the whole dish.
Mee Hoon Kuey is not particularly special but still acceptable as a standard Mee Hoon Kuey. Noodles are not too hard and the egg soup is nice. A great addition to this Kopitiam.
