Staff has no knowledge of the fat content in the cooking cream, so we had to check the cooking cream in the fridge to find out. I personally have no issue with the staff's lack of knowledge, but before I left, the staff was talking behind our backs, commenting on how we were going to spoil the cream inside the fridge if we opened the fridge for too long. If you have an issue with us opening the fridge for < 5 minutes to check for cream contents, then maybe you should have sufficient knowledge of the product, so we wouldn't have to even check around for ~5 minutes. I also don't think it's professional to be talking behind customer's backs.
Luckily, Fairprice was nearby.

Bought a tray of eggs from this store yesterday. The female cashier was unfriendly when I asked if they accepted Amex. On returning home, after cracking 2 eggs, the third egg was totally black. So there goes my 3 eggs. Went back to give feedback to the cashier. He offered to give us back one egg, which I respectfully declined. Zero stars if possible.

Visited on 2 Feb 2025 at 11:55 AM. Female cashier was rude & had a black face. I picked a lucky draw slip at the cashier, she opened it for me & only showed it briefly. When I reached out to take a closer look, she held on to it & just said ‘8%’ in an annoyed tone.

Lots of stuff related to baking, cooking utensils and accessories.
However, do check for quality of products especially those on discount. My personal experience was a cooling grill which was rusted. Went back to exchange and found that the whole batch was also rusted.
The staff was courteous and helpful to do the administrative work to resolved it.
Some of the lifespan of produce is already past half life, so do look carefully before purchasing.

Tried to clarify if the cheeses were expired. Called out to a backroom staff who chose to pretend not to see me, walking away. Cashier saw, ignored me as well. Queued to speak to the cashier. Rudely told me i was reading the date wrong, but it wasn't indicated anywhere on the product the mm/dd or dd/mm. Feedback about the colleague, ignored me as well.

This place has almost all the things you need for baking. I do agree with the other reviewer that the staff can be abit cool and unhelpful. I bought some items and was making payment. The staff did not help to put the items in the recycle bag. Instead, she just went on to serve the next customer upon collecting payment.

I've been patronising the store many times but almost every time, the staff wasn't friendly. Couldn't even clarify my doubts on the products. I only managed to asked 2 questions before the staff appeared impatient already. Service ought to improve drastically. Not a very pleasant experience shopping there. Staff always appear like they cannot be bothered to serve any customer.

staff working at around 1pm on 18/09/23 was rude and kept talking to someone on her phone, recording voice messages while serving customers. asked her where to find the mooncake moulds and point in a general direction like that’s supposed to help me?? understand it was in a very obvious place so in the end found it by myself. but her lack of care and tone was unnecessary. from what i’ve read in the reviews this isn’t the first case of the staff being rude/unhelpful so hopefully redman can do something about giving their staff better training.

As compared to other storefronts I would say BP one is slightly smaller, but it’s still quite well-stocked. I came here for a baking class led by Chef Kevin. He was very patient and helpful! Do note that the baking lessons here are conducted at the kitchen table located right in front of the shop. So if you’re uncomfortable with bystanders looking at you while you bake, this is probably not the place for you.

Evulation of 1 year shopping there, not 1 shot. The staff are better adapting to working with different customer types. Shop is always clean and functioning fine. Quite often they open 5 minutes before, allowing you yo find your purposes. This store has got better within a year.

My evaluation after one year of shopping there: not a single issue. The staff have adapted better to working with different customer types. The store is always clean and functions fine. Quite often, they open 5 minutes early, allowing you to get settled. This store has improved within a year.
