Went to buy cupcakes at the Bukit Panjang Plaza outlet.
The staff (not wearing a name tag), a guy, sounded Filipino and was not approachable at all to customers. He sounded angry to me when talking to me.
Please give proper training to your staff, especially on customer care.
Thank you.

It was my son's birthday. He bought the cake from his favorite staff member, Vivian, who always recognized him whenever he went to buy cakes for us. Happy boy!

The stall assistant at Bukit Panjang Plaza had a bad attitude. When I asked if the promotion for 6 cupcakes at $18 was valid today (CNY 2nd day, i.e., a public holiday), the guy, instead of answering me, asked me what day it was. I said it was Thursday, and he rudely and sarcastically replied, "That's why the signage is there." Being in the customer service line, I feel this kind of behaviour is uncalled for.

I wanted to purchase a single mini cupcake for my niece, but was informed that takeaway is not allowed for mini cupcakes. Instead, I was advised to purchase a regular-sized cupcake if I wanted to pack it. Mini cupcakes are only provided on a piece of tissue paper, which seems inconvenient for customers. It would be great if the stall could accommodate customers who wish to buy mini cupcakes for takeaway. The current policy feels inflexible and doesn’t cater to varying customer needs.

The service is really terrible from the tattooed man. Around 9:58 AM, when I asked him when we could buy the cupcakes, he stared at me and shouted, "I am still arranging the cakes!" I then asked him what time the shop opened. He gave me a long stare. Twelve Cupcakes needs to take service quality seriously.

The staff with the tattoos and long curly hair was extremely rude; looking at other reviews, it appears others feel the same way. I was simply asking if a coupon was still available, and he was being so sarcastic, asking me to count the dates. Horrible customer service; he needs to be fired.

EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF - June 21, 7:30 PM
I was served by a Filipino(?) man with long unkempt hair and tattoo-covered arms. I pointed at the sign that read "10 mini cookies for $6" and said, "I wanted 10 for $6." He stared at me and rudely said, "What 10 for 6? Mini cookies?" I was feeling pissed at that point but did not walk away. He then took out the tray of cookies and said, "Which one you want?"
Excuse me? Do I owe you money or what? I am a paying customer. How dare you speak to me so condescendingly.
By this point, I was really pissed. He did not even say a word during the payment process and rudely threw the receipt on the countertop instead of passing it to me. Of course, he did not say thank you. I asked for a bag and he just rudely said, "10 cents charge."
The worst thing? My cookies were all crushed, thanks to his rough handling with the tongs.
If this is the attitude you want to have, do not come to work in F&B in Singapore. Go back to where you came from.

The man working at the 12 Cupcakes outlet in Bukit Panjang Plaza was very rude. We went to buy cupcakes on April 13 at 1:30 PM. He is a Filipino man with tattoos. He did not place the cupcakes properly into the holder, and it fell off. We asked him to use his tongs to put the cupcakes back into the holder (we did not ask for a replacement of the cupcakes or to change the box). To which he shouted at us, "You must handle properly!" He kept on whispering and then threw the tongs into the basin. Such service should not be tolerated. Please take this feedback seriously.

I've never written a bad review before, but this cupcake store experience was disappointing enough to make me speak up. The cupcakes themselves looked fine, but the service ruined the visit. The Filipino guy with tattoos behind the counter behaved more like a hooligan than someone in customer service—very rude, with zero friendliness. When I paid and said “thank you,” he didn’t even respond, just stared with a scowl. This is not the vibe you expect when buying cupcakes, which should be a happy treat for everyone. Honestly, he shouldn’t be standing behind a cupcake counter if he’s going to scare the kids and kill the joy of what should be a cheerful experience!

I had a great experience at Twelve Cupcakes! The staff member, Vivian, was incredibly friendly, kind, and energetic, making my visit very pleasant. She recommended the banana cupcake and it was absolutely delicious! The banana flavor was fragrant, the cake was soft, and the sweetness was just right for my taste.
I also tried the Lemon Nectar Bliss and Chico Banana Delight, both of which were quite nice. The flavors were well-balanced and enjoyable. I picked the Magical Rainbow because it looked nice, but I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. Additionally, I bought a Petite Mango Passion Fruit, which was refreshing and had a lovely tropical flavor.
Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely return for more!
