Visited on Friday, 13 June 2025. Place was relatively empty when arrived just before evening time. Ordering was quick and fuss free. Collected drink a short while after. Overall a normal experience.

I recommend only coming to this outlet 2 weeks later when the store and employees set a level of standard or you’ll be disappointed. 1. Queue Management Store was extremely crammed. Their shift supervisor made it even more confusing and inefficient. 2. Food Quality Firstly, the half boiled egg wasn’t even the usual standard from my experience in other outlets. It could be the worse among all the outlets I tried so far. Secondly, the toast was barely even a toast. But rather just their attempt of making the outside look charred. The overall toast was just a normal soft bread. 3. Store Layout Literal meaning of packed like sardines. I understand the company’s attempt to maximise profits to make use of the space. But the seats and tables are just pathetically too close to one another. Employees should try walking through during peak hours and experience it for themselves. In conclusion, drinks were great and loved the two staff doing the drinks. But the store could prioritise more on food quality to justify for the 20 minutes wait for the bread and eggs. Customers don’t have an issue waiting. But to be disappointed with such mediocre food, I would rather visit the usual Hillion outlet. Employees at Hillion are effective and efficient.

Can’t agree more with other reviewers that the service here is front runner of the Yakun outlets in Singapore. The staff are attentive and polite. It’s pleasant to walk into this shop and I can’t explain why. The place is clean too, within minutes the staff will set it ready for the next customer.

Context: I am a frequenter of the Hillion Mall outlet, and this review is in comparison with all the Yakun that I have tried in Singapore. The toast is barely a toast. The eggs are overly cooked. Drinks are ok. This outlet needs to desperately improve their food.

Visited the outlet twice since the opening and we love the ambience (a modernise concept of traditonal Yakun) Food standard is consistent & excellent service! Definitely going to be our usual coffee hang-out.

I really want to praise the auntie working at BPP Yakun during mid-afternoon. I was here with my friend and her kids. My friend's youngest kid, a 2-year-old, accidentally took a book and hit my coffee. So, the coffee spilled on the table and cloth. The auntie immediately came over with a tray, cloth, and mop and helped us clean up. She even gave me a new cup of coffee, which surprised us, because she didn't have to. She was not even angry, but instead very nice and understanding, and joked with us that the baby had a fast hand. So, I am really very grateful to this auntie, because if you go to some other coffee place and the same thing happened, I believe I wouldn't get the same nice treatment. The staff would probably get angry that they have to clean up the mess. But this auntie is really super nice!
