Second time here. Ordered kopi o kosong gao this time, but it’s still tasteless. No coffee aroma and taste at all. My soy milk coffee only tastes of soy milk. The eggs and bread are good, but the kaya given is too little as compared to last time.

Glad to have two Ya Kun outlets in Bukit Panjang. I have been frequenting this new outlet. The standard is good. My favorite orders are as shown in the picture.

Haven't been to BPJ for a while, but I noticed there's a new Ya Kun (not sure how long it's been there). It's a bit squeezy; it's hard to move about due to the tables and chairs being arranged too closely. Teh, as usual, is hit or miss (today, a little miss). Otherwise, it's a normal Ya Kun to get your usual breakfast fix. The female cashier was friendly and helpful, though. It's not a good place to have a chat, as the sound is trapped in the shop, and you can hardly hear each other if you talk normally.

Here's the edited review: This is the best Ya Kun outlet in Singapore. Very good service and friendly staff. The drink is the best among all outlets in Singapore. The eggs' doneness is perfect, exactly my type. The toast is tasty with generous fillings. The shop is very clean, neat, and bright.

Second or third visit, I can't remember. Anyway, The cashier auntie greeted every customer with a cheerful 'Good morning' and a big smile! I love establishments like that – such a humble and warm atmosphere. I ordered Set E, and she checked if I wanted kaya. I said yes and asked for a little bit more. Upon receiving my order, the staff member even checked if it was enough. Yes, it was! Thank you very much <3 It is also a conducive place to continue sipping my Kopi while reading on my Kindle. Not too noisy at 9:30 AM. The sun shines in a little, but I'm fine with that now (I moved to sit in the middle of the shop). I'll probably Ya Kun until I'm 80 or when I can't walk or eat/drink anymore 🥲

Yummy Set A Kaya toast. The only thing I don't like is the small, shaky tables.

Ever since this new outlet opened, my wife and I have frequently visited this Ya Kun Kaya Toast. The service staff is friendly and polite. The pleasant ambience is enhanced by the delicious coffee and the beautifully decorated outlet. We like it very much. Today, June 23, 2024, we visited this outlet again for coffee, and to my surprise, there was a new recruit who is so skillful in preparing coffee. Just look at the height of the coffee he pours into my cup. I have never seen anyone with such ability; he didn't spill a drop on the floor! Christmas is around the corner, and a chocolate cake is now on offer.

The usual Ya Kun experience — dependable kaya toast that is consistently good. This outlet also feels a bit cramped, so seating can be uncomfortable during busy times. Unlike some other Ya Kun branches where soft-boiled eggs are served with the beverage, here the eggs come directly with the toast set, which is my preference. Worth noting: the entrance is located outside the mall, so you’ll need to exit to find it. Overall, still a satisfying stop if you’re craving the classic Ya Kun toast.
