Ordered online, sent multiple emails to inquire about the status of my order. The order was placed on the 3rd February, chosen date of collection was 14 February. I called the Bukit Panjang Plaza branch on Sunday, 16th February and was told that the delivery was not yet done, but they had this item in stock and I can just pick it up.
So I specially headed down, only to realize what they had in stock was a wrong item, making my trip down a futile effort and a waste of my time.
Till now (19feb), there has been ZERO response to the multiple emails I have send to ask about the status of my order.
This is my first time making a purchase with Japan Home and I regret to say that so far this has been an unpleasant experience.

Very bad service. The chinese aunty staff is very lazy to even bother to assist and check stock availability.
The outlet wasn't even busy to begin with.
I was even confused when she asked me to provide their item number??
She said there is no stock records and yet she is asking me to provide when in the 1st place she as a staff SHOULD know and have records kept in their system! If not, how they do their stock checking?
She makes no sense at all.
Overall, very bad service.

The old lady there is super rude. Asked her where the kitchen weighing scale is and she said that they don’t have it & later i found it myself. When i told her about it, she just wants to ignore me without bothering much. This attitude at this age? Pls get some nice staff.

I don’t want to talk about the attitude of the lady when she took the item down. Then I said i need to check it. But the employee didn’t open it and let me to check the item. They also didn’t look at me either, they kept talking about the price………Instead, he tied the rope and let me to pay the item.
I think my friends and I will not go again because the staff is very bad and I think we are not respected , I hope your company can improve the attitude of your employees

Asked the old aunty if had knife sharpener and she ignored me than when approached her again she said don't have whilst the younger staff showed me where it is and even told me the difference in product. During pay me t the same aunty was mumbling no nets no nets and had to clarify 3 times what she was speaking. She seemed not interested to be working there and wouldn't recommend to go to her for assistance

i bought 4 water bottles and leaved the store but then after I went for a walk around the shopping mall I came across the store again and saw a sign buy 4 free 1 , so I went in and kindly asked the chinese old aunty if this was true and can I get another water bottle , she asked me: " look carefully , this item is at the front and not at the back you bought the water bottle at the back so next time you must look very carefully" she fiercely asked and I apologized as she was shouting and so I said" I asked politely your attitude is very bad " and she replied to me to just leave the store
